Volunteering is an essential component to being a community garden member. Your commitment to The Ridge Community League Gardens will help create a strong, sustainable community garden within the City of Edmonton. The three levels of volunteerism below reflect the time commitment which an individual contributes within The Ridge Community League during the current membership year. Level I applicants will be given higher consideration than levels II & III. If there are more qualified applicants than garden plots, a lottery system will be used to allocate plots. Please select the level that best suits your contribution or, if you aren’t currently involved in volunteering within The Ridge Community League, please let us know how you will fulfill this expectation.

Level of Volunteer Participation

Level I

Individual contributions of more than 5 hours per month

Level II

Individual contributions average between 3-4 hours per month

Level III

Individual contributions average between 1-2 hours per month
