All gardeners must live in the Ridge neighbourhoods of Haddow, Henderson, or Falconer Heights, and be members of The Ridge Community League - you may be asked to submit your membership number or a copy of your valid membership with your contract. All gardeners are responsible to care for their own garden plot, and work with other gardeners to maintain the communal areas.

Volunteerism is crucial to the sustainability of the community gardens. It is expected that all selected gardeners maintain their own plot AND volunteer within The Ridge Community League.

There are many ways to volunteer within The Ridge Community League. A list of some qualifying volunteer opportunies is available to choose from. In addition you can inquire from the Volunteer Coordinator: volunteer@theridgeonline.ca.

Some volunteer activities require more time than others, and may be ranked accordingly if we have a high number of interested gardeners.
